About Us

As a parent of 3 kids at Cornelius Hedges School, and guardian of a teenage girl at Stillwater Christian School, my wife and I have lived in Kalispell with our 4 kids for four years, now. We have been visiting my parents in Bigfork for 12 years now, though we previously lived in Oslo, Norway and San Francisco, CA. With these experiences, I am even more thankful for the blessing that is the Flathead Valley! I am running for trustee of Kalispell's School District 5, because out teachers and students need more support from our Board of Ed, rather than re-electing rubber stamps for an over-paid administration that is hostile to our best educators. While some of Kalispell's best and most senior teachers are amongst the best teachers in America, SD5 bureaucrats are seeking to put them out to pasture while they provide extravagant pay raises for overpaid administrators. A school board shall first and foremost support children and teachers in the district, while also safeguarding the interests of taxpayers. School trustees must hold sacred their fiduciary duty to maintain an adversarial yet supportive role to the district.
